The Human Resource Representative will assist with running the daily functions of the Human Resources department, including hiring and interviewing staff, onboarding, conducting new hire orientation, administering pay, leaves, and enforcing company policies and practices.

This position is the main point of contact for our NY, CT, and NJ locations. ** Must be willing to travel

Works in a fast-paced independent environment to ensure all HR processes are completed with the best practice business mindset. Ensures that all administrative aspects are accurately prepared and constantly in compliance with Company, contractual, local and federal laws. Provides support to the HR Department’s Manager and performance objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions
  • Process employees’ queries and respond in a timely manner
  • Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel
  • Implements and conduct new hire orientation and employee recognition programs and events.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs
  • Handles administrative work for the HR department
  • Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
  • Explaining human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 year in a admin role
  • Must be able to work in an independent role
  • Must be flexible as we are looking for a new office space in and around the NY area
  • Must be willing to travel to offices in NJ, CT, NY
  • Must have the desire to be or become an HR professional
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Well developed listening skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills required with the ability to shift priorities as business needs require.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and resourceful thinking.
  • Ability to meet established deadlines and demonstrate excellent time management and efficiency.

Salary: $60,000 a year
